Each day with you I cherish, I cherish above all
You make it worth it, life, imperfectly perfect
Walk a journey with you, together we will do it
Mom and Dad, three sisters, one boy
A perfect recipe for a life of joy
But don’t forget the dog, cats, lizards and chicks
Who would be without them as part of the mix
Home should be like a cozy blanket, warm
A place to snuggle, shelter in any storm
No bears allowed in this house, roaring and rough
Just a safe place for all and all our important stuff
Saying thank you, please, I’m sorry and Yes!
Respect for each other makes us better, best!
Mistakes made, apologized erased away
Don’t forget the big picture dealing with the day to day
Today is a day to love with all our heart n’ souls
